Paula Patton is an actress and producer who is best known for her roles as a lead actress in the action film Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol as well as the dramatic film Precious. Growing up with her family in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, the actress had plenty of dreams. A passion for film within her daughter was a skill that she learned from her mother who also loved watching movies. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities, and drama was her favorite. Paula was a fan of acting with her classmates, and she participated in school productions. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School provided her with numerous chances to perform throughout her schooling and she picked acting to pursue a career. She was enrolled at the University of Southern California in an intensive summer course and loved her time there. The program awarded her a 3-month contract producing documentaries on behalf of PBS. As soon as she completed her three-month task successfully the first task was working in the production department for television documentaries. Following the completion of her project, she started producing documentary films. While she enjoyed the work, she yearned to be an actress. The path to acting began when she had an unimportant role with Will Smith in the romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared in numerous film and television shows.
