Her characters include Jane Kerkovich Williams on ABC's comedy show Happy Endings, Denise Mahoney in Scrubs' final two seasons, Tiger on Hulu's comedy series Future Man, and Hannah Wyland in Quantico. In 2022, she appeared in Fox's comedy Pivoting. She was recently as a supporting character on the Netflix series Murderville episode-Who killed Santa. Coupe studied improvisational comedy at The Groundlings as well as ImprovOlympic. She performed in France as a soldier in the all-female King Lear production in 2003. The one-woman sketch show she performed, The Patriots, premiered in New York's Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre on November 5 the 5th of November, 2005. It was awarded the Breakout Performer Award from HBO's U.S. Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen, Colorado in March 2006. Coupe was engaged to actor instructor and puppeteer Randall Whittinghill from December 2007 to June 2013.She announced her engagement to Darin Olien, founder of SuperLife, a lifestyle brand SuperLife through Instagram on the 27th of November 2014. While traveling in New Zealand, they were married December 24, 2014. They filed for divorce on December 24 the 24th of December, 2014. From April 2011 to May 2013, Coupe starred on the ABC ensemble comedy series Happy Endings alongside Elisha Cuthbert, Zachary Knighton, Adam Pally, Damon Wayans, Jr. and Casey Wilson. After the show's third season was over, ABC cancelled the show despite critical acclaim. Happy Endings was cancelled. She starred in a recurring part on House of Lies's third season and she also starred alongside Jay Harrington in Benched, a comedy series on USA Network that premiered on October 28 in 2014. She later played the role in the role of Hannah Wyland in Quantico, an ABC thriller.
